Join us this Saturday, Sept. 27th from 5-7pm for the opening reception of Brian Higbee’s exhibition FUTURE PERFECT at Way Out Gallery. Higbee’s work is often shown pseudonymously and attributed to one of the collectives or fictional firms the artist devises. Sculpture and painting from several of these projects comes together for the first time at Way Out.

Alberto Caputo will be showing a wide range of media in this third of Way Out’s exhibitions for 2014. “VISCERAL” explores the relationship between the self and the other. The show includes painting and sculpture and features the artist’s trademark handmade wooden frames and objects.

Joe’s work is not entirely about the object being represented. The object is but a structural element for exploration and engagement. The painting itself is the object Joe is interested in and he chooses organic objects that have an interesting shape or human like character.
