Opening for Ben Godward’s “Super Slo Mo”

Saturday, July 5, 2014

The weather was perfect for gathering to check out Ben Godward’s large-scale and insanely colorful sculpture and understated but masterful paintings. It takes looking and experiencing this work for a while to recognize all the amazing hidden moments. In fact, the more you look, the more you’ll find.

Super Slo Mo is up through August 23

Ben Godward Sculptures

July 5 through Aug 3, 2014
Opening Reception Saturday July 5, 4-6pm

Ben Godward, a Brooklyn sculptor and favorite of the Bushwick Open Studios, will be showing his outrageously bright foam and resin sculptures at the Way Out Gallery in Rensselaerville during the month of July.

Opening July 5th, with a reception 4-6pm, Godward’s show will feature his characteristic combination of cultural residue (found objects, packing material, consumer products) and cast, poured and dripped neon-colored plastic.
